Happy new year, readers.
First things first: We’ve got a fancy new logo and a redesigned website.
After writing Context Collapse since 2017, I realized it was time to redesign the site and go in a new direction.
I think there’s a lot of need for more how-to and instructional content for marketing, PR and advertising professionals in a very different media environment than the 2010s. A few examples:
- Building SEO strategy for a genAI world
- Ramping up B2B podcast projects
- Creating YouTube content audiences want to watch.
As a platform, Substack is a mixed experience for me as a publisher.
While it makes sending out a weekly newsletter extremely easy and provides great metrics, Substack leadership has been deliberately steering new readers towards subscribing to us (and other newsletters) only on their app/website, and not subscribing by email instead.
We are already publishing Context Collapse on LinkedIn to reach new audiences there and I may migrate the newsletter to another platform later this year.I am working on several creative projects that don’t necessarily fit the Context Collapse newsletter. I recently restarted my personal blog for a place to write about non-work things, and am experimenting with video content on YouTube, TikTok and Reels.
I also want to work on a non-client podcast project again; if anyone’s interested in collaborating, please hit me up.
Otherwise… Just busy making some great projects happen.
Hire me for B2B newsletter, podcast, ebook, white paper, and video projects at Ungerleider Works.
We’ll have a new weekly link roundup in a few days and a new post next week. Thank you as always for reading to the end and thanks for sticking around.
