Hey there.
Things are a little busy here. Since my mom unexpectedly died, I’ve been spending the bulk of my time either working (running a small business = not being able to take a lot of time off, because you know), taking care of family (I came back to Chicago from the funeral in NYC to find out that my kid’s preschool was closed for a few days due to COVID cases, which meant half a week of getting up at 5am to work, then taking care of the kid from 9-6 and then working again from 6-10 LOLOLFML), or helping settle her affairs.
So, yup, it’s been busy.
This is all a kind way of saying that I won’t be publishing this newsletter for a few weeks. On the work side, my existing obligations to paying clients are taking priority. On the personal side, making sure I have time to mourn and help my family sort out the endless logistical headaches that accompany this sort of mess are my top priorities.
That’s how these things unfortunately go, I hear. See you soon, lovely people.
