Hey there. It's been a while.

The Neal Ungerleider Newsletter, which you subscribed to before, is going through a bit of a change. Our last issue was in the spring of 2018, and... a lot's happened since then.

We'll discuss that soon. But in the meantime, I wanted to introduce you to The Confounder.

I work in the intersection of media, science, technology & the future. It's well-treaded territory, but hard to do well. Websites, magazines and newspapers sacrifice accurate coverage for pageclicks and advertiser-friendly article choices. The companies and organizations they cover, meanwhile, oftentimes don't really know how to explain what it is that they do.

It's interesting territory, that place where media and the future meet. I hope my attempts to map it are useful for you.
