As always, things are busy. Greetings from this corner of a lovably dysfunctional reality.

First things first: Well-known and beloved virtual band the Gorillaz just won a Clio Grand for their VR/AR mobile app. I teamed up with the good people at the Clio Awards to do a deep dive into the Gorillaz' mobile app, and it was quite amazing.

But now to the good stuff: This week's Spotify playlists. I like music, you like music, so let's share these things.

1. The John Peel's Festive 50s Complete 1976-2004 is 900+ songs of amazing punk, indie, alternative, and other moody-people-with-guiar things.

2. Spotify's best playlist of One Hit Wonders.

3. How about a deep dive into 1970s Eurovision Songs?

4. Los Angeles music venue Echoplex has put together the Spaceland Spooky Mix, a completely amazing Halloween playlist.

5. Timewarp: Classic hip-hop paired with the soul songs they sample.
